Hauser is replacing Zohar Goshen, who leave his post at the end of this month.
Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz has appointed Prof. Shmuel Hauser as the next chairman of the Israel Securities Authority. Hauser will replace Zohar Goshen.
Hauser is dean of the School of Business Administration at the Ono Academic College in Kiryat Ono.
In late January, Goshen announced that he would resign his post, effective at the end of May, after three and a half years in the job.
