AudioCodes, Microsoft expand Lync partnerships

The partnerships enable the delivery of products and services on a global basis for gradual migration and rapid adoption of Microsoft Lync.

VoIP solutions developer AudioCodes Ltd. (Nasdaq: AUDC; TASE: AUDC) and Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT) have expanded their partnerships with Microsoft Voice Specialized Partners (VSPs) for large enterprises. The partnership enables the delivery of products and services on a global basis for gradual migration and rapid adoption of Microsoft Lync.

AudioCodes VP marketing Nimrod Borovsky said, "The Microsoft VSP community is key to our success in the Microsoft market. We have been working closely with the VSPs ever since we started our strategic cooperation with Microsoft. Listening to their feedback and requirements, we have enriched our product offerings and solution portfolio, building a full suite of products specifically designed for the Microsoft Unified Communications environment. More recently, we have also introduced our professional services offering, supporting the VSPs with high level network design, planning and integration services."

VSP Parners include BT Group plc (LSE; NYSE: BT), Integrated Access Solutions Inc., Enabling Technologies Corporation, Swisscom AG (SWX: SCMN) unit Webcall, and Latin America's Datatel SA.

AudioCodes' share price fell 0.4% in early trading on Nasdaq today to $5.02, giving a market cap of $206 million, after rising 1.2% on the TASE to NIS 17.06
