Mobile Internet co Saguna Networks raises $1.5m

The company is developing a mobile Internet solution for the mass delivery of high-quality rich content, such as video clips, games, and music files.

Saguna Networks Ltd. has raised $1.5 million from private investors at a company value of $4.5 million, after money. The company is developing a mobile Internet solution for the mass delivery of high-quality rich content, such as video clips, games, and music files.

Incubator Xenia Venture Capital Ltd. (TASE:XENA) owns 18.4% of Saguna. Xenia CEO Anat Segal said, "Saguna operates in the fast growing market with the introduction of smartphones and tablets, and the growing demand for Internet content everywhere, all the time. Saguna's system is an important component of network operators' ability to have profitable business models from the delivery of rich content to a broad audience."
