Profal wins €25m German order for solar panel frames

The company announced the deal at a conference at its Western Galilee plant today.

At a conference for solar industry executives today, aluminum profile manufacturer Profal announced that it recently signed a €25 million agreement with a large German company to supply aluminum frames for solar panels.

Today's conference was held at Profal's plant in the Goren Industrial Park in the Western Galilee.

The company presented the advantages of using aluminum structures for connecting solar panels to all types of roofs and for ground-based systems. It introduced a variety of systems using a new technology that are both easy to assemble and attractively priced.

All the systems were developed by Profal itself, and are produced in Israel.

The importance of choosing the right anchor system was explained. Although the anchor system is a very small part of the overall financial cost of a solar installation, since the whole solar field is mounted on it, choosing an unreliable anchor system can cause damage to the entire facility.

Conference participants were given a guided tour of the company's plants, which it claims are among the most advanced in the world for the design and manufacture of aluminum profiles.
