The Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club has completed its preparations for the 2011-12 season off the court as well. It has signed a NIS 400,000 sponsorship agreement with Mul-T-Lock Ltd., a global manufacturer of locks, cylinders, and armor products.
Mul-T-Lock will have the exclusive right to display its logo on the basket zones of the court floor at Israel Premier League and Adriatic League games. In addition to perimeter ads on the LED screens at Euroleague, Premier League, and Adriatic League games, the sponsorship will include sales promotions to the audience during one break at home games.
Under Euroleague rules, teams may not sell the basket zone space in Euroleague games.
Since Maccabi Tel Aviv will play in three competitions this season, it has raised its sponsorship and advertising fees 10-15%. Prices for season tickets will rise by 8-10%.
