Alvarion Ltd. (Nasdaq: ALVR; TASE: ALVR) has won a $2 million order by MSTelcom unit Angola Communications Systems for its BreezeMAX Extreme high-speed wireless broadband network. The system is intended for business and public sector customers in the capital, Luanda.
Alvarion president and CEO Eran Gorev said, "Expanding beyond a traditional carrier model, service providers like ACS are enabling both rural and urban Africa to move forward at a rapid pace."
Alvarion's share price fell 1% on Nasdaq yesterday to $0.99, giving a market cap of $61 million, and fell 0.6% in early trading on the TASE today to NIS 3.74.
