NBA star Omri Casspi buys Netanya apartment

The Cleveland Cavaliers player has bought a five-room seafront apartment for NIS 2.3 million.

Israeli NBA star Omri Casspi, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, has bought a seafront apartment in Netanya for an estimated NIS 2.3 million. The 23-year old basketball player is due to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv in this season if the NBA lockout continues.

Last Friday, Casspi joined a buyers group organized by Ampa Malibu LP, a unit of Ortam Malibu Group, is building the Primavera project on Netanya's seafront. Casspi signed a commitment to buy a 126-square meter five-room apartment on the seventh floor of the 18-storey high-rise. The building will have 49 five-room apartments.
