NavNGo expects to sign similar agreements on Indian operations with Mercedes Benz and Suzuki.
Portable navigation device developer NavNGo Ltd. today announced the launch of operations in India in collaboration with Volkswagen India Ltd. NavNGo expects to sign similar agreements on Indian operations with Mercedes Benz and Suzuki.
Under the agreements, NavNGo will install its iGO GPS navigation software in the companies cars sold in India. NavNGo developed a special application for the Indian market, where streets are often unmarked and buildings' numbers are not sequential.
"We've been operating in India for a long time, and we're now opening an official representative's office," said NavNGo president David Wiernik. "I believe that the Indian market has great business potential. It is a market where two million new cars are sold every year and there is strong demand for the iGO program."
