Tahal's fourth Ghanaian project brings its backlog in the country to $282 million.
Kardan NV (TASE: KRNV;AEX:KARD) subsidiary Tahal Group International BV has signed a $97.5 million water infrastructure project in Ghana. Tahal and the National Water Company of Ghana design, construct, expand and upgrade the drinking water systems in the Kumawu, Konongo and Kwahu regions of Ghana.
The project follows the 3K water project that Tahal is building in the same area, and is the company's fourth project in Ghana. The current project brings the value of Tahal's projects to $282 million, 75% of which will be invoiced in the coming years.
Kardan's share price rose 4% by early afternoon on the TASE to NIS 7.69, giving a market cap of NIS 862 million, but was flat on the Amsterdam Bourse by midday.
