567,000 Israelis head abroad for Passover

Airports Authority: The most popular destinations are the US, Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Russia.

The Israel Airports Authority estimates that 567,000 Israelis are heading abroad for Passover. They will take 3,630 departing flights from Ben Gurion Airport. 49,000 passengers are scheduled to depart tomorrow, and 45,182 passengers are scheduled to depart on Sunday. 50,000 passengers are scheduled to arrive on Sunday, April 15, after the holiday.

The Airports Authority said that the most popular destinations were the US, Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Russia. It advises passengers to keep up to date about their flights, and to arrive three hours in advance.
