Sodastream International Ltd. (Nasdaq: SODA) has unveiled its AquaBar, designed by Italy's Stefano Giovannoni. The company says that the AquaBar will "redefine the way we use water in the kitchen".
The AquaBar is a plumbed-in, plugged-in counter-top machine which caters to a full range of home water needs. It dispenses purified and filtered sparkling, hot, cold and ambient water. AquaBar will preview at Giovannoni's studio inMilan on April 17, as part of the annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile design exhibition.
Sodastream CEO Daniel Birnbaum said, "I'm very excited about the AquaBar, which will change our everyday water habits by providing the most convenient way to enjoy water. For the first time, SodaStream is offering a fully integrated water station that fulfils all of our water needs - ambient, hot, cold and sparkling - all from purified and filtered water. The AquaBar is an important step towards SodaStream's ultimate solution of a single-serve system that delivers soda at the push of a button."

Sodastream's share price opens at $33.50 today, giving a market cap of $672 million.
