The company has installed 20 of its breast cancer tumor removal systems in the US so far this year.
IceCure Ltd. (TASE: ICCM) today announced the expansion of its US operations from private clinics to breast cancer institutes at large hospitals, after completing its first year of marketing activity in the US.
Icecure has installed its IceSense3 systems at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, the St. Elizabeth Health Center, in Youngstown, Ohio, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, in Detroit, and the Hoag Family Cancer Institute in Newport Beach, California. The installations will give more women access to the company's cryoablation procedure for the removal of breast cancer tumors. The system replaces the need for surgical excision of the tumors.
IceCure has installed 20 IceSense3 systems at hospitals, medical centers, and private clinics in the US to date, a substantial increase on the number of systems installed at the beginning of the year. The company plans to install more systems at hospitals across the US.
