Private virtual tutor company Mindojo Ltd. has raised $2.2 million from US investor Barry Fingerhut.
Mindojo has been offering GMAT tutorials online in 80 countries for two years at a price of $750 per user per year.
Mindojo CEO Guy Zaslavsky said that the company would use the financing to expedite development of its platform, which will be launched next year. The platform will enable any individual or enterprise to convert any course material more convenient than a class with a private tutor.
Zaslavsky and Uri Klein founded Mindojo in 2006. It has ten employees at its Ramat Gan office.
