Tire pressure monitoring company Neomatix raises $500,000

Tirecheck is an innovative electro-optic system for monitoring tire pressure using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Tire pressure monitoring company Neomatix has raised $500,000 in seed financing from Yaron Carni's Tel Aviv Angel Group and private investors Gidi Shenholz and Zahi Zloter, who previously founded Pegasus Technologies, which they sold to China's YiFang in 2010.

Neomatix, founded in 2011 by CEO Kfir Wittmann, has developed innovative electro-optic systems for monitoring tire pressure using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The Tirecheck app is currently available for free in the App Store and a version is being developed for Android phones. Neomatix's main tire pressure monitoring product for vehicle fleets, which uses a sensor, is still in the development stage.
