The former Kadima chairwoman is making a new run for the Knesset in the January elections.
Former Kadima chairwoman Tzipi Livni today announced her return to politics at the head of a new political party, "The Movement", which will run in the January elections for the Knesset.
“It is hard for me to return to political life,” said Livni at today's press conference. "Last week, when my son went to fight in the south, I texted him that I had decided to fight on my field, politics, so that he would not have to fight on the battlefield. I have come to fight. After four years of euphoria, the painful price of the government's policy is clear. A policy which proves that the government which refused to say the words 'two states', has resulted in two Palestinian states, one at the UN, against our wishes, and the other a Hamas state in Gaza."
