Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) (TASE: ARSP.B1) has won a $20 million contract to supply an airborne network centric warfare (NCW) communication system to a foreign customer. IAI Systems, Missiles and Space Group's MLM Division developed the system. The company did not disclose the customer's identity.
The system will provide cross-platform interoperability and improved C4I capabilities, as well as connectivity among multi-player task forces. NCW communication systems enhance the operational capabilities of modern armed forces, and are a key element in maintaining air superiority in a hostile environment.
