Sequoia Capital provided the entire first round of financing in the Israeli start up.

Business information platform Pyramid Analytics has raised $11.5 million in its first round of financing. The entire investment came from Sequoia Capital. Until now the company has been self-financing through its founders.

Co-founder and CEO Omri Kohl told "Globes," "The funds will be used for increasing our R&D activities and expanding in global markets, especially the US."

The company has offices in Ramat Gan as well as the Netherlands, UK, and US.

Pyramid Analytics aims to deliver a business information platform that provides business users with the tools needed to gain insights about their business in a way that is natural, does not require any particular technical skills, while allowing a depth of analysis comparable to the best applications available. In a singular tool, Pyramid Analytics has set out to satisfy both the casual data consumer as well as the power analyst.
