"Globes": Both firms operate in the same practice areas. Isn't this a merger of more of the same?
Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer managing partner Zeev Pearl: "This is not a merger of 'more of the same', but a link-up of Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer's unique capabilities in intellectual property and patents with the range of practice areas and commercial fields of Baratz. The combination of the two firms' practice areas will provide a broad response to diverse clients."
How will the merger be implemented?
"The merger will consolidate the firms' overlapping departments. Baratz & Co.'s senior partners, Yael Baratz, Anna Moshe, and Benjamin Baratz will manage these departments in the merged firm. Doron Latzer, the senior partner for the commercial practice in New York at Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer, will manage the merged firm's US operations, together with Oded Kadosh, who is responsible for the Boston office.
"The partners for intellectual property, Zeev Pearl, Mark Cohen, Nachman Cohen-Zedek, Dor Cohen Zedek, Guy Yonai, and Haim Ravia, will be managing partners in the merged firm, Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer Baratz."
