The price of self-service 95 octane gasoline will rise by NIS 0.26 per liter, 3.58%, on Saturday night, June 1, to NIS 7.52 per liter. The price of gasoline in Eilat, which has no VAT, will rise by 2.58% to NIS 6.37 per liter.
The price of the gasoline and additives will be NIS 2.72 per liter, the marketing expense will be NIS 0.64 per liter, the excise will be NIS 3 per liter, and VAT will be NIS 1.14 per liter, following the VAT hike to 18%. Taxes account for half the retail price of gasoline.
