Personalized video platform co Idomoo raises $9m

Idomoo president and co-founder Yaron Kalish said that the investment will enable the company to accelerate plans to expand operations in North America, South America and Europe.

Innovative personalized video platform developer Idomoo today announced that it has closed a $9 million round of equity funding led by New York based Marker LLC. Idomoo provides a versatile platform for the easy and rapid creation of personalized videos that help companies improve customer communication.

Idomoo’s Personalized Video as a Service (PVaaS) platform enables companies to generate massive numbers of personalized videos quickly and efficiently to individual customers based on their personal details. The platform is being used by companies such as TIM Cellular in Brazil, Portugal Telecom and Generali, the global insurance company to communicate critical information to their customers.

To date, Idomoo has served tens of millions of videos in 16 different languages each automatically generated for an audience of one.

Idomoo president and co-founder Yaron Kalish said that the investment will enable the company to accelerate plans to expand operations in North America, South America and Europe where the company has already seen success using personalized video.

Kalish said, "As soon as companies allow Personalized Video to demonstrate a rapid return they start to enjoy the additional benefits of delivering a moment of “Wow” every time they talk to their customers."

Kalish also pointed to Idomoo’s advanced solution for personalized video advertising and retargeting as key components of the company’s growth.

Idomoo was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Hod Hasharon with offices in London, New York and Sao Paolo.
