Rafi Maor appointed Israel Aerospace Industries chairman

Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon and Minister of Finance Yair Lapid have appointed ECI chairman Rafi Maor as the new chairman of IAI.

Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon and Minister of Finance Yair Lapid have appointed Rafi Maor as the new chairman of Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) (TASE: ARSP.B1), Israel's largest defense company. He is currently serving as chairman of ECI Telecom Ltd.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Maor has accepted the job, and will succeed IAI chairman Dov Baharav.

Defense sources said that Maor is familiar with IAI's business because of past positions he held at the company.
