Dankner, father of Nochi Dankner, received NIS 3.5 million and NIS 4.8 million for the apartments, which were sold in March and April.
Sources inform ''Globes'' that Yitzhak Dankner, the father of IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH) chairman Nochi Dankner, sold two luxury apartments in Tel Aviv Yoo Towers several months ago. He bought four apartments in the complex without mortgages in 2009-10.
Yitzhak Dankner reportedly received NIS 3.5 million and NIS 4.8 million for the apartments, which were sold in March and April. He lives in the nearby Akirov Towers.
Earlier this week, Yitzhak Dankner provided NIS 30 million of the NIS 70 million that Nochi Dankner and Alexander Granovsky were required to deposit in an escrow account as a condition for the Tel Aviv District Court extending the deadline for an investment in IDB as part of the company's debt settlement. The money will be foreclosed in favor of IDB's bondholders if they reject the debt settlement that Dankner and Granovsky will propose.
