Channel 2 news presenter Danny Kushmaro has bought an 80-square meter three-room apartment with a 12-square meter balcony with a sea view on the 32nd floor of the Midtown Tower in Tel Aviv for NIS 2.6 million. The 50-floor building, which is under construction, is owned by Electra Ltd. (TASE: ELTR), Eurocom Group, and Canada-Israel Development Corporation.
Kushmaro's neighbors will include IDF Major General (res.) Eitan Ben-Eliyahu, singer Aviv Gefen, and basketballer Yogev Ohayon. 210 of the building's 300 apartments have already been sold.
The Midtown Tower, designed by architect Moshe Tzur, is located along the Menachem Begin axis on the old Tnuva Food Industries Ltd. dairy, which was purchased for NIS 535 million in 2011. The project will be completed in 2017.
