Electronic Arts Romania will pay €2.1 million year in a seven-year lease, with an option to extend by three years.

Africa-Israel Investments Ltd. (TASE:AFIL) unit AFI Europe NV has signed an agreement to lease all the 11,700 square meters of office space in the AFI Park 2 building in Bucharest to Electronic Arts Romania. Rent will be €2.1 million a year under the seven year lease, which has an option to extend for three years.

The AFI Park 2 building is part of the AFI Park complex, which is under construction adjacent to the AFI Palace Controceni mall in Bucharest. The AFI Park 2 building is scheduled for completion by mid-2014. The five-building complex will have 60,000 square meters of space when completed. The first building was completed in late 2012, and is fully leased. Construction of the third building is due to be completed by the end of 2014.

Following the success in marketing space in the AFI Park's first stages, AFI Europe plans to begin construction of the AFI Park 4 and AFI Park 5 buildings in 2014, completing the project.
