"Ma'ariv" publisher Shlomo Ben-Tzvi also announced a new combined format for the Internet, app, and television.
"Within four years, "Ma'ariv" will overtake 'Yediot Ahronot' in the number of subscriptions," promised the publisher of Hebrew daily "Ma'ariv", Shlomo Ben-Tzvi, at the Eilat Journalism Conference on Sunday evening. He also announced that, in a month, "Ma'ariv" would publish an evening edition, which would be distributed at street corners for free.
"Obviously, it's impossible to exist only as a print newspaper," said Ben-Tzvi. "The solution is a combination of all formats every day. In a month, we will announce a new combined format for the Internet, app, and television."
