The extra floors will make the building 37 floors high, as tall as other buildings in the Diamond Exchange area.
Sources inform ''Globes'' that the developers of the Gibor Sport Building near the Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange plan to add eight floors to the building, bringing it to 37 floors. The building, located on the western side of the Diamond Exchange, across the street from the Leonardo City Tower, has 29 floors. The extra floors will make the building as tall as other buildings in the exchange area.
The Gibor Sport Building has no additional building rights, which means that the Tel Aviv Regional Planning and Building Commission will have to approve the addition to it. The Ramat Gan Local Planning and Building Commission has submitted the plan to the regional committee. The plan will not expand the building's parking garage, as part of the local building commission's wish to expand the use of public transport.
