Mobile security company Zimperium has raised $8 million in a financing round led by Sierra Ventures. The funds will be used to develop the company's mobile intrusion development system. Zimperium also has a tool that helps IT administrators monitor all devices registered to a certain network.
Zimperium, which has offices in Tel Aviv and California, was founded in 2010 by CEO Itzhak Avraham and CTO Elia Yehuda. The company was originally a consulting company specializing in smart device security but has since developed a range of products including the ZANTI Android Network Toolkit.
