The fashion chain says no price or terms for a deal with the private equity fund have been set.
In a notice to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, fashion chain Fox-Weizel Ltd. (TASE: FOX) has confirmed the report in "Globes" that Apax Israel is in talks with it on investing in the company.
"The Apax fund approached the company's management to examine the possibility of investment," Fox states in the notice, "Following this approach, negotiations took place, a confidentiality agreement was signed, and Apax will conduct an examination of the company."
Fox states that at this stage no price or clear terms have been set for a deal, and stresses that the company's board of directors has not yet discussed the proposal.
