Wed: TASE losing streak continues

Mazor and Fattal led the declines today while Partner and Bezeq bucked the market.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today for the sixth straight session. The Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 0.73% to 1,564.78 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell 0.57% to 1,403.61 points; and the BlueTech Global Index fell 0.76% to 369.71 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.02% to 348.09 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.19 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.054% at NIS 3.693/$ from yesterday's rate and set the shekel-euro rate down 0.774% at 4.181/€.

On the market, Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE:MZOR) fell 7.11% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. Fattal Holdings (1998) Ltd. (TASE:FTAL) fell 2.74% and Sodastream International Ltd. (Nasdaq: SODA TASE: SODA) fell 2.04%. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 1.25% and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 0.375 despite reports that Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway had increased its stake in the company.

Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) rose 3.95% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index despite a further erosion in the company's profits reported today. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 1.74% and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 0.99% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today.
