Thu: Tel Aviv 125 Index reaches all-time high

Leading stocks Nice Systems and Bank Leumi fell, but the TASE still managed a positive session before the Succot holiday.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.63%, to 1,670.26 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.74%, to 1,505.04 points (an all-time peak); and the BlueTech Global Index rose 1.52%, to 395.20 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.05%, to 348.18 points. Turnover totaled NIS 2.18 billion in equities and NIS 3.51 billion in bonds.

On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was flat, at NIS 3.5830/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.47% higher, at NIS 4.1970/€.

Today's two leading stocks actually fell: Bank Leumi by 0.13%, and Nice Systems by 4.82%. Israel Chemicals rose 1.85%; Teva rose 2.16%; and Bank Hapoalim rose 0.60%. Opko Health gained 8.34% and Mazor Robotics 7.62%. Alongside Nice Systems, prominent decliners were Harel, down 2.37%, and Shikun & Binui, down 2.27%.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange will be closed until Tuesday, September 25 for the Succot holiday.
