Cannabis co Together appoints former police chief as chairman

Danino: Cannabis provides a cure for cancer, epilepsy, pain, autism, depression, post-trauma and more.

Israeli medical cannabis cultivation and production company Together (TASE:TGDR) has appointed former police chief Yochanan Danino as its chairman. Danino has also previously served as Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) chairman.

Danino said, "I am pleased to join Together, which is led by excellent managers and businesspeople. Over the past year, the company has built assets of major economic potential, both in terms of facilities and farms for cultivation in Israel and abroad and by signing agreements worldwide.

“The medical cannabis market is one of the fastest growing markets in the world, which provides significant opportunities for Together Pharma, certainly in view of the approval of exports from Israel. The medical community, leading policymakers, and caregivers today fully admit that the medicinal benefits of the plant are unequivocal. Cannabis plant products provide a cure for patients daily, worldwide and in a wide variety of illnesses, whether they are patients suffering from cancer, epilepsy, pain, autism, depression, post-trauma and more."

Danino also currently serves as a senior consultant to technology and cybersecurity companies, including Black-Cube, SOSA NY, and he is chairman of Cyberd.
