Sun: TASE flat despite Teva decline

LivePerson and Fattal led the gains on the market today as Teva continued to lose ground.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange was flat today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.06% to 1,539.36 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell 0.02% to 1,401.03 points; and the BlueTech Global Index fell 0.02% to 375.86 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.05% to 347.17 points. Trading turnover was NIS 486.4 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.193% at NIS 3.634/$ on Friday and set the shekel-euro rate up 0.134% at 4.117/€.

On the market, LivePerson Inc. (Nasdaq: LPSN); TASE: LPSN) rose 4.74% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. Fattal Holdings (1998) Ltd. (TASE:FTAL) rose 1.71% and The Phoenix Holdings Ltd. (TASE: PHOE1;PHOE5) rose 1.21%. Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) rose 0.45% on the day's biggest trading turnover. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 0.83%, Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 0.47% and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 0.81%.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.48% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) (NYSE: IFF, TASE: IFF) fell 0.76% and Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) fell 1.24% and Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: TSEM; TASE: TSEM) fell 0.9%.
