Thu: TASE stages minor recovery

The main indices rose today, but that still left the Tel Aviv 35 Index down 2.6% down for the week.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.74%, to 1,447.02 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.83%, to 1,494.41 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 1.92%, to 509.67 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.02%, to 363.26 points. Turnover totaled NIS 3.1 billion in equities and NIS 2.3 billion in bonds.

For the week, the Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 2.6%. The index is down 14.0% for the year to date.

On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was set 0.43% lower, at NIS 3.2750/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.18% higher, at NIS 3.9709/€.

Liveperson led trading today, and rose 4.2%. IFF rose 0.41%; Ormat rose 0.20%; Bank Hapoalim rose 0.14%; and Bank Leumi rose 1.35%.

Notable advancers today were Opko Health, up 6.57% and Augwind, up 5.49%. Partner fell 2.28% and Melisron fell 1.80%.
