Motorola

Motorola Internationals Israel branch markets and sells it own brand of mobile phones both to organizations and private customers. It produces state of the art cellular phones to suit all technologies, analog and digital. As such it provides cellphones and accessories for the three cellular companies in Israel - Pele-Phone (analog and CDMA digital), Cellcom (TDMA digital) and Partner (GSM digital).

Rad

Rad Data Communications is an international manufacturer of high quality WAN and LAN access equipment for carriers, service providers and corporate networks. With offices and distributors in 92 countries, the company, formed in 1982, develops and markets for industry, finance, the military, telecom, education, commerce and utilities industries.

Qualcomm

Qualcomm, founded in 1985, supplies digital wireless communications products and technologies. It has developed the digital CDMA (Code Division Access Technology) for cellular phones, which over a three year period the company has introduced into 35 countries - including Israel.

Amdocs

Amdocs Israel is a subsidiary of the multi-national Amdocs international, which simultaneously engages in 250 telecom projects worldwide. Amdocs Israel develops systems for companies supplying land telephony (on AIN, Local and Long Distance networks), cellular communications (TDMA, CDMA and GSM), integrated services (Convergence) and state of the art systems for classified directories.

Motorola

Motorola Semiconductor Israel, established in 1982 by Motorola Inc.s Semiconductor Products Sector, designs and develops a variety of VLSI microprocessors, digital signal processors, microcontrollers and systems, as well as software and hardware systems. The company has two large development centers in Israel, in Herzliya, in the center of the country, and Omer in the south.

MINT Technologies

MINT Technologies (NASDAQ traded) develops, markets and supports Intelligent Middleware and Messaging products for financial institutions, asset management companies and financial information providers worldwide. MINT, a content sensitive Message Broker, detects messages from any source, transforms them according to user defined format and mapping rules, and routes them to their destinations.

Accord

Accord Video Telecommunications develops and markets a new generation of high performance Multipoint Control Unit (MCU)/Gateway solutions. The company, founded in 1992, provides the multimedia conference industry with MCU products. Accords US headquarters offices are situated in Atlanta, and its R&D center is located in Israel.

Cisco

Cisco develops a multitude of data communications technologies, including Core, WAN, switching, access, ATM, Internet and IOS software solutions for small, medium and enterprise customers. The company says that 88% of Internet hardware and software was built and developed by Cisco Systems. Its Israel branch specializes in the development of Quality of Service network management.

Golden Lines

Golden Lines began operations in late 1996 and won an Israeli government tender in summer 1997 for operating international telephone calls. Owned by Aurec, Globescom, Telecom Italia and SBC Communications, Golden Lines has recently introduced a sophisticated system for receiving and examining telephone bills, via the Internet using a secret password.

Tekem

Advanced Technology Ltd. Engages in systems integration, software development and consulting. The company is the SAP representative in Israel, offering a product line of sales support services and implementation consulting. The Sapphil 98 conference, to be held on November 17 at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, will be attended by many of the worlds market leaders - including Dell, Microsoft IBM, Sun and others.

M.A.N.

M.A.N Properties deals in the sales and leasing of properties in Israel and around the globe. Among others, the company specializes in the sale and lease of office space and buildings, industrial buildings and warehouses as well as catering to the high tech industry. M.A.N. has signed a contract with Prudential Referral Services, and is responsible for developing and handling the companys business relations abroad.

TNN Networks

TNN Networks provides broadband data communications networks using such technologies as ATM, Frame Relay and TDM. TNNs networks solutions combine data, voice and video and more than 350 networks have already been delivered to major customers. The company is a joint venture of Tadiran Telecommunications and Newbridge Networks.

Yam-San

Yam-San manufactures, distributes and sells notebook computers, mini-notebooks and Palm PCs. It markets products under the GVC and MaxTech brand names and is constantly expanding its products to include all varieties of modular notebooks. Yam-San also provides after-sales support and technical services.

Azorim

Azorim Investment Development and Construction company is currently active in building projects, real estate and the construction industry. The companys latest high tech park, ten minutes from Tel Aviv, and surrounded by large areas of greenery and panoramic views offers full facilities for knowledge intensive companies towards the new millenium.

Samsung

The Samsung electronics giant is the official wireless communications equipment partner of the Olympic Games and is now applying its expertise to develop the universal wireless standard for the next century: IMT-2000. It is the first company to supply GMPCS CDMA terminals. Samsung, among other sophisticated electronics products, supplies a complete range of "gold standard" mobile phones using CDMA and GSM digital technology.

Nokia

Nokias mobile and wireless phones "connect people" around the globe. The company, whose head office is in Finland, with locations in over 45 countries and whose mobile phones are sold in 130 countries, also supplies solutions and products for fixed and wireless datacom, as well as multimedia terminals and computer monitors.

Pele-Phone

Pele-Phone was the first cellular phone company in Israel, operating on analog technology. The company is currently introducing CDMA technology and a basket of new services for its clients in Israel. One of its latest services is "one world - one number" which enables customers to keep a single cellphone number which may be used anywhere in the world. The company also offers "quiet technology" via either a vibrating mobile phone, or written messages on the phones screen.

Applied Materials

For thirty years Applied Materials has supplied semiconductor wafer processing systems worldwide. It offers equipment and support services for most major processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. The company has R&D and manufacturing centers worldwide, as well as sales and services offices strategically located close to its customers chip making facilities.

Siemens

The multi-national Siemens supplies a plethora of communications services including its latest HiNet audio-visual integrated communications. The 150-year old company manufactures and supplies HiCom ISDN/digital telecom exchanges, GSM cellphones, landline and wireless infrastructures, public switch exchanges, access equipment and network planning.

Cellcom

Cellcom provides TDMA digital cellphone technology together with fast wireless communications between telephones, computers and faxes. The company started operations in Israel in 1994 as the countrys second mobile phone operator, aiming to enable everyone to purchase and use a cellular phone because of its competitive prices. It has more than 350 sales centers countrywide and is concentrating on updating and broadening its services.

Bezeq

Bezeq is Israels national telecom service coorporation, providing domestic and international calls, Internet, ISDN, video-conferencing services, e-wallets and now its latest frame relay service. Among other advanced technologies, Bezeq is now offering its Frame Relay fast data transfer service to companies, enabling a 24-hour online service.

Lannet

Lannet supplies advanced switching solutions for Ethernet users who are migrating their networks to switching technology and implementing high-speed Gigabit Ethernet, ATM and multilayer networks. Founded in 1985, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lucent Technologies, with its headquarters in Israel. Lucent Technologies products are based on innovative R&D of the Bell Labs, where the laser and transistor were invented.

Sun

Sun Microsystems was an innovator in the Java and its basket of products. The companys slogan "the network is the computer"- provides open network embedded technology solutions which enables companies to bring new devices into the network age. The company was founded in 1992 and is active in more than 150 countries.

Robertson Stephens Evergreen

Robertson Stephens Evergreen provides a range of banking services to growth companies in targeted industries. It uses research capabilities to create higher valuations for clients and superior returns for investors. The company, familiar with the Israeli market, looks for companies with significant technologies which have the potential to become industry leaders.

Unisys

Unisys integrates networks for organizations, writes middleware and prides itself on providing quick solutions. The company helps its customers in 100 countries to apply IT to solve all business problems. Unisys solutions are based on a broad portfolio of information services including systems integration, outsourcing, remote network management, multi-vendor support and "repeatable application solutions" for all markets.

CA

Computer Associates International is a leader in mission-critical business software. The company develops, licenses and supports more than 500 integrated products including enterprise computing and information management, application development, manufacturing and financial applications. The company has branches worldwide.

Koor

Koor Communication & Security Systems, since its founding 20 years ago, has set up public networks for data communications. Among other things the company specializes in WAN and LAN, mainly in ATM/FR technologies while providing solutions for backbone and access tiers, enabling integration of data. Koors main fields are ATM, Remote Access, Voice Over IP and others.
