BRM Realises $24 Mln in Checkpoint Shares

The sale took place before the crash on Wall Street. Since the issue in June 1996, BRM has realised $117 million from Checkpoint shares.

Just before the crash on the US stock market, party at interest BRM managed to release two additional parcels of 300,000 Checkpoint shares (600,000 altogether) onto the market, turning them into $24 million cash.

This sale is the latest in a series that BRM has executed since last August, in which it has sold shares to a value of $55 million. Altogether, since Checkpoint’s first issue in June 1996, some $117 million has flowed into BRM’s bank account.

Monday’s Wall Street crash hardly affected Checkpoint’s shares. They fell 4% to $38.4 two days ago, but yesterday returned to almost $40.
