The world's first macro computer virus is about to
become the biggest virus threat to computer users world-
wide. "Concept" accounted for 20 percent of
all calls for help to S&S Software International Inc.,
maker of DR. SOLOMON'S ANTI-VIRUS TOOLKIT, in the first
quarter of 1996. Second on the S&S trouble-maker list was
"Empire Monkey" with 26.2 percent. But even more alarming
is the spread of six new recently identified macro
viruses. Macro viruses target the macro routines of
specific popular applications, and are directed mostly
against Microsoft Office products. But one of these Macro
Viruses, called "Green Stripe", has launched a new attack
on users of Lotus Ami Pro and Word Pro documents
