Bezeq General Manager Yitzhak Kaul yesterday announced the launch of the information service "Bezeq 135", which will supply direct access to Internet companies for incidental clients and access to on-line data bases.
According to Kaul, agreements have already been signed with three Internet connection companies, Israserve, Bezeq Gold, and Actcom, and additional agreements are expected in the next few days. Kaul made the statements at the communications forum of the Jerusalem Business Conference.
In order to reach the BezeNet system, the client will need communications and websurfing software. Bezeq will identify the customer and invoice and collect via the telephone bill.
In addition to Internet access, BezeqNet will supply other services. Currently real estate, automobile and electronic appliance price surveys are available. As is the 144 directory assistance service, TASE share prices, foreign currency exchange rates, and Ra’anana’s virtual school. The Knesset and cabinet will soon open data bases, as will the IDF and banks.
