The chain will invest NIS 2 million to open three new branches. A Holon factory will produce desserts for the company under a private label.
Domino’s Pizza Israel is to add salads and desserts to its take-away menu. General Manager of Omni Brands Food Ori Yogev and Domino’s Pizza Marketing Manager, Ami Ben Dror, told “Globes” that the company recently began trial-marketing desserts at branches in Ramat Aviv and on Carlebach Street in Tel Aviv. Said Ben Dror: “We’ve been marketing Haagen Dazs ice-cream at all Domino’s Pizza branches, and recording average sales of 20 pints per branch daily. In the light of that success, we’ve decided to expand our supply of desserts, though this time on the basis of single-size portions. We established contact with a factory in the Holon industrial area which will produce three desserts for the company under our own private label. The factory in Holon produces desserts using Italian recipes. At the Domino’s Pizza’s Carlebach Street branch, which operates around the clock, we’re expecting a large demand for these desserts.
Yogev: "Domino's Pizza will open three new branches at a total investment of NIS 2 million over the next two months. One is an exclusive branch in Herzliya Pituah, under joint ownership of Domino's Pizza and Haagen Dazs, and other branches in Ashdod and Kiryat Bialik."
Together with the new branches, the chain will comprise 24 branches in total.
