Former head of Intelligence General (Ret.) Uri Sagee: The possibility of an attack on Israel is very slim.
Former Air Force Commander, Major General (Ret.) Avihu Bin-Nun stated in response, " I see no immediate danger stemming to Israel from the American action in Iraq."
The former commander went on to say he saw no reason to rush to clean bomb shelters or seal rooms.
Bin-Nun was asked if Iraq still had missile launching capabilities after the Gulf War, and estimated in response that Iraq has no missile-launching capability, although it is possible that Saddam Hussein may still have surface-to-surface missiles hidden at various locations which he could launch as a one-time act.
Former head of Intelligence General (Ret.) Uri Sagee estimated Tuesday that the possibility of Iraq firing on Israel as a result of the US attack there is very slim.
Sagee further maintained that Iraq has not significantly improved in its surface-to-surface missile capabilities since the Gulf War, and there are those who claim the country has no such capability at all at present.
