Jerusalem contractors will pay NIS 101 million, including development, for the Pisgat Zeev site, on which 667 apartments and 3,000 sq.m. of commercial space are to be built, according to government chief valuer Moshe Yitzhaki, in an assessment made on Succoth (Feast of Tabernacles) eve, last Wednesday. This figure represents a discount of NIS 15 million, compared to a previous assessment of NIS 116.5 million, including development, made by the Jerusalem region valuer.
So ends a conflict of many years regarding the largest residential building site in Jerusalem, designated for construction in the near future. Contractors may now apportion the land between them and begin building.
