89% of the area of the shopping mall has already been
rented out. A 3,500 sq.m. expansion plan has been
approved.
The developers of the Haifa shopping mall recently
leased another 2,500 sq.m. for the mall, in 22
transactions. The area of the mall is 26,400 sq.m., of
which 23,500 sq.m., representing 89% of total commercial
area, have already been rented out. Leases are for an
average of five years and rent is in a range of $37-79
per square metre per month, linked to the index, or a
percentage of turnover, the most frequent rate being 8%,
whichever alternative is the higher.
The local town building council has approved the
developers' application to increase the area of the mall
by another 3,500 sq.m. The project is 64% controlled by
the Dankner group.
