The marketing manager of Office Depot will manage the chain.
Hamashbir and Israel Corp. have been granted the license to set up a Calvin Klein retail chain in Israel. Discussions are now being held as to the Israeli chain’s structure, the number of stores and their deployment.
Calvin Klein designs and manufactures fashion and underclothing and is considered one of the most prestigious houses in the world. Until now, a small number of Calvin Klein clothing items were sold in Israel through private importers and Hamashbir Lezarchan stores.
Reportedly, Office Depot marketing manager Ronen Zender will be appointed manager of the new chain. He was not available for comment. Office Depot has not yet decided on his replacement.
