The Beit El military court today sentenced terrorist Hassan Salama to 46 life sentences plus twenty years imprisonment, for planning the suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Ashkelon, in which 46 Israeli citizens were killed.
One judge, who held the minority opinion, requested Salama receive the death penalty. The court had not considered meting out a death penalty as the prosecution had not demanded it.
