Irit Linur: Bar-On Gambles Thousands of Dollars in London Casino

Attorney Ronni Bar-On, Attorney General-designate, regularly gambles thousands of dollars in a casino in London, according to author Irit Linur, during Shelly Yechimovitz’s "It’s All Talk" radio show.

Linur stated that about a year ago, during a stay in London, she met a group of Jerusalem lawyers and joined them for an evening in the Ritz Hotel casino. Bar-On was among the group.

Linur stated that she specifically remembers Bar-On as he "was considered by the group a sort of spiritual leader." She also stated that, by the way, they group were well-known in the casino, long-time, regular customers. "I sat with the casino manager, and this was clearly not the group’s first visit. The casino knew and appreciated this group, and I doubt that is because they gamble $50 a night."

Linur claimed that Bar-On played Black Jack. She said she didn’t know how much he lost, but he and another lawyer were clearly proud of the large sums of money with which they were playing. It was thousands of dollars. "It is possible that they also occasionally won thousands of dollars in a single night, but you don’t become a well-liked casino customer in a casino like the Ritz, if you take home $100,000 a night."

"Globes" has also learned that Bar-On has served in the past as an assistant instructor in "I AM" seminars on self-awareness. Bar-On did this for a few years a number of years ago.
