Minister of Communications Limor Livnat has recommended that an inter-ministerial team be formed, comprising representatives of the ministries of communications, education, justice and science, to review options for minimising the damage and reducing the viewing of pornography by minors via the Internet.

A debate took place two weeks ago on the dissemination of pornographic material involving minors and the viewing of pornography by minors via the Internet. Attending the meeting were Minister of Communications Limor Livnat, Communications Ministry Director-General Danny Rosenne, Adv. Yehoshua Shofman, deputy Attorney-General, Adv. Tal Gal, representing the Child Welfare Council and teams of jurists belonging to the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Justice.
