Modai: Defense Industries Could Be Privatized Tomorrow With No Harm to Security

Former Minister of Finance Yitzchak Modai will moderate the session on Privatization Opportunities in Israel at the 1996 Jerusalem Business Conference at which the government privatization plan for 1997 will be presented.

"Most of Israel’s defense industries could be privatized tomorrow morning, without harming national security, and with a great deal of economic benefit," said Former Minister of Finance Yitzchak Modai, who is currently preparing for the Jerusalem Business Conference ’96. The conference will take place on November 9-11 at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem.

Modai will moderate the session on Privatization Opportunities in Israel at the conference, which will deal with business potential for Israel and the region, as the year 2000 approaches.
