Following a strategic alliance with Radison-SAS, the Moriah Hotels chain is seeking to modernize their information
system.
Following the recently announced strategic relationship between the Moriah hotel chain and the Radison group, Moriah is
modernizing its information systems. As a first step to integrate their systems, Moriah is currently seeking proposals to
modernize its information system and especially link to the Radison-SAS worldwide reservation system. Moriah currently
operates a hotel management system based on IBM's AS/400 developed by Israel Rotestein software house. The Radison network
uses the Fidelio system, recently introduced in the Israeli market.
Rafi Beeri, the network's Marketing VP says the Israeli company is planning to connect its Israeli locations to the
world-wide reservation system of Radison-SAS, thereby providing travel agents throughout the world with access to its
reservation systems and tour packages in Israel. Moriah has distributed a limited tender to five major Israeli software
houses, offering proposals for the project. Companies include: IBM Israel, Tadiran information systems, ATL, Liraz and
Formula. Beeri considers this is to be major step forward in implementing the strategic agreement recently signed between
Moriah and Radison-SAS
