"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to launch a combined economic measure right after the state budget passes the Knesset, planned for the end of the year," according to President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce Danny Gillerman, after a meeting with Netanyahu.
Gillerman added the plan will include, a further cut in the 1997 budget, reduction of the prime rate, and drafting long-term monetary policy, reforms in the public sector, including the release of lands, reform of the capital market and local municipalities, privatization, deregulation and tax reforms.
