Netanyahu emphasized that that in the New York agreement, there is no definition of what "time out" means.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clarified today that the government will continue to build in settlements in the Territories and allow their natural growth and that he has no intention of changing that.
Netanyahu further maintained that the most important thing in the agreement reached in New York between Israel and the Palestinians on the resumption of talks is that the peace process is contingent on the Palestinian Authority’s war on terrorism. "We will not accept a peace process and a terror process. The two things cannot coexist."
Netanyahu emphasized in response to the question whether Israel agreed to a settlement freeze that in the agreement reached, there is no definition of what "time out" means. "There is an agreement to discuss the concept "time out" in which each party will put forth their understanding of the concept. We have our own perspective. We build in settlements and allow their natural expansion, and I have no intention of changing that," he said.
