ORS, Adv. Shov & Roni Savir Offer $5.5 Mln For Bet Brenner, Parking Lot

Histadrut: We will sell for $7 million, otherwise we will cancel the tender and let the property.

Four competitors have submitted bids in the Histadrut tender for the sale of Bet Brenner and adjacent parking lot on Brenner Street in Tel Aviv. The four competitors are: ORS personnel placement; Geulat Hakerach belonging to the family of Adv. Moshe Shov; the Roni Savir family; and jewelry family Levi. The competitors are offering up to $5.5 million for the two assets, but the Histadrut is asking $7 million.

ORS personnel placement, owned by Gabi and Doron Sabag are offering to buy the 3,800 sq.m. Bet Brenner for $3 million. The company plans to transform the building into small residential apartments, of which there is a shortage in the area. Also competing in the tender is the former TV announcer Roni Savir, now a businessman, together with his family, and the Levi family.

Competing in the second tender, for the sale of Bet Brenner’s parking lot in the same street, are the Shov, Savir and Levi families. The parking covers 0.275 acres (1.1 dunam), has 50 parking spaces, and a 400 sq.m. structure for restoration, which includes 4 apartments leased on a monthly basis. The competitors are offering $2-2.5 million.

The competitors met last Wednesday with Histadrut representatives, when it became clear that offers were below minimum. It was agreed to continue negotiations and a pricing process is likely to take place.
